Question of the Day!

Gambit, breaking hearts since 1990. ♥

You know my favorite X-man/Marvel Character. Now tell me whose your favorite comic book character?
Any version, any company. As long as its a comic character and not manga. ♥

I am very very very short on things that I have actually read, as far as comics go. But Storm is pretty awesome. >.>

[identity profile] smiling-evil.livejournal.com 2010-04-14 11:49 am (UTC)(link)
Storm is the shit. I'll give you that one! ♥

Man... I have to pick one?

You already know of my undying love for Gambit. Harley Quinn is up there too, and Kid Flash just about ties between the two. LOVE Beast Boy and I'll never ever grow out of Batman. I've got a major love for Thor too |D

I'm a sad little dork, I know too much... TOO MUCH D:

Listening to Mark Hamil talk about Harley is always a treat. It amuses him (and me, I admit) that a character created by the cartoon has become so widely accepted and loved by the comic fandom as well, when comic book fans tend to be very protective of their comic canon.

I just thought I'd point out the weird phenomenon that is Harley because I literally think I could write an entire paper on her... XD

Boy Blue from Fables. (as seen in my icon)

[identity profile] lysdexicmun.livejournal.com 2010-04-14 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
It's a huge toss-up between Jericho, from Teen Titans, and Angel, from X-Men. But I think I'd have to go with Jerry, just for the d'awww factor.

[identity profile] smiling-evil.livejournal.com 2010-04-14 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Angel and Jerry are both good choices. ♥ Awesome

[identity profile] mysolitarydream.livejournal.com 2010-04-14 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Gambit *_*

He's always been one of my favourite X-Men aswell. He and Wolverine, with Beast and Rogue not too far behind.

I've always loved Spider-Man aswell. (The X-men/Spider-Man corssover in the cartoon series! Yay for childhood memories!)

Wiccan, Hulking and Speed from the Young Avengers are a more recent addiction, of course.

So like myself your mostly a Marvel fan?

[identity profile] magichour.livejournal.com 2010-04-14 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's mix it up and go with Aquaman. :| Bitch had the lamest powers ever but went around hanging with the big boys like he wasn't just there to be laughed at and make everyone else feel cooler. B|

Other than that? Batman. That bitch had no powers at all, just made himself some gadgets because he was that pissed and then proceeded to kick the shit out of everything. Even when his villains or vs matchups did have powers, he still kicked the shit out of them because he's just that hardcore.

Close second to the damn Bat is Nightcrawler. He was just a BAMF (which is hilarious as that also happens to be the SFX for his teleporting). And he was a priest for a while, which was cool. :|

Hope you can forgive an rp journal response, since I didn't want to keep you waiting. You bring up a good point and Im glad you did. I have respect for Aquaman for that very reason. he was a laughing stock but he still stuck it out. Someday he may get some credit.

Dude, Batman is the SHIT That man is not to be fucked with. Koko's been spazzing over Batman as long as she has the Xmen.

I loved when he was a priest thats like the good old days of X-men.

Late responding but:

Storm. You know my love of Storm and my thoughts on the recent treatment of her in the comics.

I also really love Catwoman, Harley, and Poison Ivy. The Gotham Girls rock. I also have an insane love for Oracle because how many characters become more badass after being disabled?

And I loooove Wonder Woman. Like, a lot. Any form of her. Comic, cartoon, the cheesy live action series. All of her is amazing.

And I love Harry Osborn. He's so flawed and fucked up, and you knew that he'd end up just as crazy as his dad, but you still feel bad for him.

I have too many comic loves, clearly.

uber late XD

[identity profile] catpaw.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually have a few favorites, so I can't pick.

Wolverine, Gambit, Nightcrawler; Storm, Psychlocke, Rogue from the X-men cast. u_ub
I love me some Batman too.

Although, I have this comic called: Gunfire and I liked the main chara out of that. Although as of late, I've been getting Iron Man vibes from him. lol
